By the way, dude working at Backwoods if you get the message, I may suggest to you, your life is potentially in as much danger as mine, setting foot outside of home base on that hike of yours. Some really wicked vibes apparently seem to be making the rounds online, and I am hearing of cherry pickings suggested going on...just letting you know.
I am getting really tired of the 'Hostel' suggestions honestly, so I put out the alert.
By the way, supposedly its all supposed to be a liability saying anything of this matter, which is probably most definitely not true if there is any truth to it, and never mind that someone else has the right to suggest it even if its supposedly fiction. So what happens I end up canceling on some of things. Its a rational decision and generally probably worth it. There's a sort of bio in a backpacker magazine of dude out west that refused to travel with anything but his Colt 45 or something to this effect if that were a hint enough, and solo travel for the potential of the Texas Chainsaw massacre probably not worth it. Honestly, though I hear of some awful crap supposedly going down, but I can't verify an ounce of it, not really in a position. Probably not wise to solo travel in back country these days, and if you follow something of some previous posts, there maybe some shitty nasty cells operating around bait switching from what I can tell, but that's my un informed two cents on things from a limited perspective.
Some added things: I don't know about supposedly mainstream social organizations are worth much for anything really but potentially bad news. Again, something I can't confirm at all, but I don't think there's a whole lot out there that's potentially that safe when it comes to socializing with people period, at least if you are potentially targeted by some these groups out there. Honestly I don't make much of an attempt, I don't have much experience, don't really have much to go on, but I am told internally to avoid a lot, and a lot at times. The rational likelihood to this as at best, likely these days there is supposedly a lot of spying going on, and chances maybe you are more likely surrounded by people that really aren't much of friends and/or don't have your best interests in mind especially in so far as your own personal safety. Sadly it is a bit of an isolationists sort of existence, but then I could say maybe I live a much ultra safe existence relative to some. :D My risk taking days, and this were more likely the sort of solo adventure inclinations aren't the same like it used to be I'd have to admit.
