Future civilization...

I see humans in so many ways less involved in the engineering, fabrication, and production of tangible goods in a given future.  Already we see the signs that humans are being empowered at the level of cottage based industries, for instance, in manufacturing areas with assembly of things via mass market consumer 3d printers, and its likely just the tip of the iceberg with respect to fabrication using extruded plastics.  For instance, in the area of fabrication, computer controlled mills have dropped in price and have allowed people to enter in more affordable ways into materials engineering areas that hadn't existed previously...at least in terms of precision design is getting to the point where people more readily work between computer aided design systems and direct fabrication process in the creation of new things.  I think the bigger problem is how this all relates to a given marketplace, and especially with respect to the traditional problem of business and money, the social exchange process, and how people are able to potentially sell these goods and services.  Even if the ideas are great, this doesn't necessarily mean that social management skills or the type of management skills necessary to keep things operational from the standpoint of ideas put into reality alone, but the truth of the matter is that we could see even a change not only with respect to marketplace but systems integration s that make accountancy, and business managerial practice providing individual cottage producers smarter know how from the standpoint of delivering goods and managing businesses at varying levels.

I imagine that people will not only be more highly educated but potentially find ways and means of providing application to their work in and around their daily lives, or that the notion of work could be given by some contractual basis through another market exchange that translates not necessarily in specifically a long term occupation for public sanitation facilities, but could be more of a free lance worker hired on a per contract basis for work that is given less by long term occupational standards.  If you were looking for stable long term work in a future world, it may be less commonplace as has been the shifting standard of employment.  We could also see more of DIY world coupled to much higher educated populace making use of any intelligence in the way of cottage industries.  Which is to say there may also be less mass market produced goods spread homogeneously through out market place systems.  Here one might imagine, especially for countries with higher brain wealth investments potentially producing, for instance, higher end goods either for export or personal consumption which could provide something bright for a given economy.  The downside, however, comes where brain wealth and talent are poorly utilized, and the tendency for any exodus.  Probably the key to this is where information systems have worked even more so to ensure that people are put to use, and that their labor is given intrinsic worth as opposed to displacement.  Information systems positing aid with respect to establishing the creative foundations for brain wealth being invested in sound and sustainable ways should be likely.  That is, whether such wealth can be directed in efficient and relevant ways to a given destination.  That is, that information systems play a higher role with respect to not only resource management but also human resources as whole...this could in another way be the hallmark of another liberalization which is that human resources as whole are neither given to the same error prone discriminatory processes that may deliver in so far as market place labors inefficiency leading to unemployment in the first place.  While on the other hand market places and businesses play a deterministic factor in hiring and firing of human resources.  On the other hand, even with market place slumps it maybe that in the future far more efficient information systems delivery ensures that processes are less given by emotional and irrational mood swings in so far as human resource management processes.

Looking for application

I think of my personal experience, for the limited time spent in years of higher education, spending time pouring through abstractions, text book exercises, and I think I hadn't learned some of the skills in practice until I found self inducement and supplemental information that would lend to application.  It is one thing to have an education which inevitably leads in a modern day economy nothing more to a recipe for skills apparently pitted against others similarly in a competitive way bearing little relation to the job being sought.  Then I think for those spending even more tireless long hours working for what should seem an abstraction to another life in due time, or would one have imagined going from one pre occupation to the next, and in another way learning another set of skills that would apply equally as well in a life context.  Maybe we find the relevance in what we are doing daily, or that we are fortunate to apply a life learning experience to a context.  To devise solutions that aid a neighbor with respect to a construction project in so far as engineering, and that the neighbor didn't actually have to hire an engineering firm in the process for something needed if it were all possible.  It could be that if one had provided some sort of service and the exchange were given not in essence for the sets of tangibles that one thinks of on a daily basis.  One hopeful believed in essence that the cost of building materials could be reconciled plentiful and cheap given a certain architectural framework, and in theory no one should ever have to go without shelter in this world, and then having at times found a recurrent renaissance among ardent communally oriented social crowds, and it seems in this day and age with free advertising and the wealth of information potentially out there, nothing is lost in so far as the exchange of product and commodity, goods and services, and payment given to the explicit framework devised more popularly for such exchange in the vehicle of mass market consumption that exists.  You look for the help line, mass engineering project for hippie community, services to be rendered are entirely bartered, and one has the creative work of working through a mass of junk and donated surplus alike for constructing something in application that were more functioning relative to a large metal humanoid breathing fire.  This weren't part time living, maybe it were a hybridization of living between and in and out of the existing grid of civilization.  The notion weren't exactly living in the way of small subsistence necessarily.  The collective of minds were gathered not necessarily to say by doctrine one way or the other of any particular necessity or requirement, but in some crazy sense, that people having found another could say to another there were always application for any life learning experience, there were always work to be had, there were always something by which people not only lived together in such exchange but actually exceeded well beyond the functional boundaries of subsistence alone.  In the hybrid context, there were something else being exchanged and created in the process, one should hope.  This weren't instilling to the notion that value and worth were solely given by manual labor and agrarianism but infusing invention into such processes to make things work.  The thought comes that there is the value time spent in devising technologies.  More people synthesize into the area of research leading to outcomes of research, and yet with respect to applicable tangibility might produce also failure in the process.  With respect to the social nature of all this, the collective of people spend their time with what they know, and something is either yielded or not.  Ample room in a large civilization gives social time allotment for study to be pursued, and where it potentially might lead.  Still yet what can be constructed in the simplest and ingenious of manner could be another longer road less traveled in the future freeing up local time and time spent doing other things.  It could be the difference of having to walk extra miles versus not doing so.  In such a way, the group thinks about basics like efficiency of resources use...one theorist states not to push efficiency too far to the brink.  Nature is never so efficient either.  All things need rest.  All things work potentially at some pace, but such pace is never the same.

Time spent

Time matters.  How we live effects how we think in such space, and I wonder how rarely we devote ourselves in the context outside of this time.  If we spend our time thinking less about something, perhaps, arguably less so do ideas of a given subject cross our minds that we once thought about.  It is also by training what leads us to either pursue or quit pursuing thoughts, dreams, or merely working on some project or hobby that we once had in mind.  If a mind is applied in the area of a given thought, by contrast, often times I believes and conditions a state of mind.  It is a behavioral conditioning process by which we think less of the work spent if given to a natural affinity in which we have pursued such thoughts.  Future, one should imagine, is given so much to thought more so I think.  If it is plentiful in thought, plentiful in abstraction, I imagine where one should imagine creativity, and at the same time wondering of anything utilitarian, and comparing this to a present state where a mind could be self organizing or persistently feeling the necessity to be lead in a organizational context.  How do we live with the notion of personal autonomy, in having the luxury to do as we creatively please?  Are we given the luxury and expense so much also in failing on the whole?  We think less about success maybe to the degree of loss of income and a particular narrow pursuit that suffices ensuring the constancy of support required by our position in life that means so much in the lives of others around us, or I should say according to this notion that a life once believing that life options were given by such and such were narrower in retrospect to the degree of other circumstances possible.  There were always work to be had, and intelligence enough in the system in recognizing one for many things and not given so much to singularities.  It isn't enough to think of one's life work in terms of something monolithic being produced, is it?  A large tower is more than just a tower, as it were likely connected to the life blood of a civilization that produced it, as it were connected to the social vehicle of people moving to and from it daily.  There is a practicality and wisdom also isn't there to one's time experience.  This leads one from certain youthful progressivity to a aging conservation and practicality?  But one learns never to make things impossible or surely failure would be shown so early that nothing of that community of minds remains...surely people depart and leave to go elsewhere in what ever life pursuit that leads them elsewhere.  One could think ever so much of the time spent and the frustration accrued, or how people learned to deal with each other in so much the confines of that space, the field.  In it one might have learned the sense of insular hostility at times accrued when divergence of minds reconciled a force and all the gravitation of civilization draining the life blood of the Brain away.

The Old World

The old world is one given to narrow and personal rooms as isolated little islands in archipelago.  It is given to the quiet reverberations of the steady prodding, to a new voice that you must be acquainted that annoyed you, disruptive to all the previous years work.  Your life were more solitary now, as were everyone around you that privately had an unseen family seldom talked about or left in discussion, maybe at a glance you quipped something about the old home, but relationships dissolve.  The fervor of uncertainty in recent times stimulated...I am morphing my writings into something else here.  Is it less coherent?  Less driven?  The streets were quieter if not at times exciting.
So many lifetimes it must have felt that one lived in a way which were more common now.
