Library of Alexandria big beautiful library went up in flames...poof gone, and then Europe enters a time of being a backwater (in a way), although its unfair likely to characterize things this way (as scholars might disagree), and maybe I am humoring myself more then anything. If it feels as though there are many steps taken backwards for the steps taken forward, find consolation in the scaled cosmic calender. Here, civilization was born in the last few seconds (or second, or something like this), and one merely contends with time itself, and there is after all lots of time isn't there?!
